Rennes

If my blog had it's own bank!

Rennes is the capital of Brittany, which is a very unique region of France. Brittany is actually considered one of the 6 Celtic nations. The others are Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, and Cornwall. Because of this, you will spot a lot more people with strawberry blonde hair in Rennes than you will in Paris. The town has similar architecture to Rouen. There is a large student population here so the city was quite lively when we arrived around via train just after midnight.

I do actually miss the muffins from back home. Not because they are that much better than French muffins, but because they are that much cheaper!

Of course you can't go the Brittany without eating a galette and drinking cider!

Oh and don't forget to order a crepe for dessert!

Check back later this week for more on our Brittany trip! Thanks for reading!!
